Our partner, Smart Cities Klub, in Slovakia grows. Engaged individuals enroll the local network on the road towards smart cities. Equally important is to secure life quality in the smart city, the citizens need to be involved at an early stage. How to succeed? Well - the network is a great arena to meet others. share learnings, processes and discuss solutions.
The newcomers are Piešťany, Prešov, Dubnica nad Váhom and the Banská Bystrica self-governing region in Slovakia. Already next week they get a great opportunity to achieve insight. In Hlohovec a professional Smart City workshop is taking place. The theme is public procurement of innovations. Here mayors, heads of specialists and city professionals meet experts from Slovakia, the Czech Republic and the Netherlands. The participants gain valuable experience and proven solutions that they can use in their smart city projects.
As Smart Cities Norway, Smart Cities Klub in Slovakia looks across borders to find relevant partners. In order to create a successfull smart society founded on technology and sustainability, the citizens needs to be the center of attention. Without their involvement from an early stage the project will fail. That’s why a network is a great way to find discussion partners, share learnings and get good ideas.
