RECAP Arendalsuka 2019: Ambassador’s Smart City Pitch

Challenges and opportunities with creating smart cities are global. On Tuesday, the topical portion of the program culminated with the ambassador' pitch. Business and others who were interested could tak part in the five countries' smart city projects. We got to hear about national strategies for smart cities, how the UN SDG's are integrated into the projects, and which cities are leading in this area locally. Last but not least, what needs for innovation do the countries have for taking the smart city projects a step further. The Ambassadors from South Korea, Hungary, Slovakia, Belgium and Denmark contributed.
