We are running an informal Smart city “quadruple helix” network of municipalities, businesses, research institutes, academic institutions and NGOs. We acknowledge that cities will only become smart by learning how to involve all sectors of society. Co-operation across all sectors of society (the quadruple helix) is central to smart cities.
